CMHT Celebrates Carers Week 2021!
1st June 2021
For more than 25 years, Carers Week has been a chance to celebrate our Carers and their invaluable work all across the country. This year, Carers Week is June 7th – 13th and it’s all about making our Carers feel visible and valued. We will be celebrating Carers Week 2021 from June 7th – June 13th with a special programme of events led by our Carer Support Worker Anthea. Carers Week is an annual celebration of everything our Carers do, recognising all the hard work and compassion they put into caring. We also have a couple of events lined up to help Carers take time for themselves and recognise how brilliantly they’re doing! As all our Hope College events are currently online, it’ll be easier than ever for you to connect with us during the week!
For the celebration, our special events include a “Body, Mind, and Soul” Mindfulness session on the morning of June 9th, which will focus on your holistic wellbeing, and a Creativity Workshop to get those creative juices flowing (on the evening of June 9th), whether writing, painting, or knitting—bring along anything that inspires you to be creative!
For more information or to sign up, please email us at Mailbox.HopeCollege@berkshire.nhs.uk. Alternatively, please email your name and date of birth to the address above to sign up for the login area of the website, where you can find some extra supportive material available any time, view recordings of previous Friends and Family groups, and sign up for future workshops. We look forward to seeing you there!
